Announcing Auditions for JTC's Winter Show
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Open to Jefferson students grades 9-12
Please complete ALL registration steps:
ACTORS Checklist:
-
Fill out and submit the registration form and pay show fee (or request scholarship) BEFORE audition day (October 7th).
-
Choose a short (one-minute) Comedic Monologue to perform for your auditions. This can be any monologue of your choosing. If you need help finding one, please reach out to Emily Morse for some suggestions.
3. If cast, you will need to pay the BPS Activity Fee
IMPORTANT NOTES:
For the audition, each actor will complete their selected monologue. We will not be doing a separate night for callbacks so please plan to be prepared to be asked to stay after your initial audition to read scenes from the script.
Remember, this is a very fun show with a lot of big parts. Come into auditions with an open mind about what part you will receive. Show me all the personality you've got. I am looking for eccentric character actors for this show!
If you cannot attend the audition on October 7th but would still like to be considered, please email Emily Morse as soon as possible.
The first rehearsal will be Tuesday, October 14th, from 5pm to 7:30pm. A full rehearsal schedule will be shared once rehearsals begin but the general schedule will be M/T/W/F 5 pm to 7:30 pm through October and November. We will have mandatory dress rehearsals the Wednesday and Friday of Thanksgiving break.
Performances will be November 29th - December 6th.
Please note all conflicts on your audition form.
