Registration for JTC's Fall Play
Murder on the Orient Express
Open to Jefferson students grades 9-12. Auditions are June 1st from 3:00pm - 4:30pm at Jefferson. Callbacks will take place from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Please prepare a one minute monologue taking into consideration the play and the characters. You may be asked to stay for callbacks at 4:30pm. Audition and be prepared for callbacks on June 1st (same day) at 4:30pm.
In August you will receive an email to pay the BPS activity fee (which is separate from the JTC fee (and required for participation) (scholarship option available as usual). We will send you a reminder to pay the BPS Activity Fee when it is available.
TECH/Stage Crew:
Students interested in TECH should fill out the registration form but do not need to audition. Complete the registration form on or before June 1st to be considered.
REHEARSALS:
We will have our first rehearsal June 11th from 6:00 - 8:30 PM
Tenatively rehearsals begin August 10th from 6-9 PM, 3 days per week. Starting August 31st, we rehearse 4:30 - 7:00 PM, 3 days per week until September 12th. Starting September 14th we will switch to 4 days per week.
Saturday rehearsals:
September 12th and September 19th
Each participant is required to do 6 hours of set construction which usually occurs on Saturdays or days we don’t have rehearsal.
PERFORMANCES:
October 1st at 3:00PM
October 2nd at 7:00PM
October 3rd at 7:00PM
October 4th at 1:00PM
