Set in 1905 in Imperial Russia, Fiddler on the Roof is the beloved story of Tevye and his family where Jews and Russians live in delicate balance. During the course of the show, time honored traditions are embraced  by Tevye and his wife Golde while being challenged by his daughters, Tzeitel, Hodel and Chava. It is a story that captures the essential human longings for love, community, success, freedom, family, and meaning. Fiddler features such iconic songs as the beautiful “Sunrise, Sunset,” the boisterous “If I Were a Rich Man”, and the classic “Matchmaker, Matchmaker.” Fiddler won 9 Tony awards and was the longest running musical ever in Japan! It is a story that touches all people regardless of where you live. We look forward to sharing this story with our audience.
